Step back Keeping Up With the Kardashians, new girls are in town. E! just announced that they are launching a new docu-series which will follow the lives of fashion models and give you a glimpse into their private and personal life. Titled Model Squad, the series (or should we rather say reality show) will feature nine supermodels, all of which are in high demand in the industry and were featured in magazines like Vogue and Sports Illustrated.

The models who will be a part of Model Squad are Ping Hue, Nadine Leopold, Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo, Hannah Ferguson, Daniela Braga, Caroline Lowe, Ashley Moore, Make Me A Supermodel star Shanina Shaik, and Victoria’s Secret Angel Devon Windsor. The series will have eight one-hour long episodes and will premiere later this year. If you are impatient, a special preview will air on February 12. You can check out the short teaser released by E! below.

“The business of high fashion is competitive and cutthroat, but it provides unparalleled opportunities that so many dream of,” said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Executive Vice President of Development and Production at E!. “With the network deeply rooted in both fashion and pop culture, Model Squad is tailor-made for our viewers as this series brings exclusive access inside this unique celebrity lifestyle while also showing how these fierce women empower each other in such a high-pressure industry.”

“I am excited to document the drive and ambition of these young women at the top of their industry,” added show’s executive producer Dave Caplan. “With supermodels at the forefront of pop culture, the series could not have a better home than on E!”
