Adele gave us one of the biggest hits of 2021 with “Easy On Me” and this moving ballad is still ruling the charts three months after its release. It returned to no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the 10th week, becoming Adele’s second song after “Hello” to do so.

During its 10th non-consecutive week atop the Hot 100, “Easy on Me” drew 99 million radio airplay audience impressions and 14.3 million streams. It’s Adele’s second song to log 10 weeks at no. 1 in the U.S.—a personal record it shares with “Hello”, which reigned for 10 weeks in 2015-16.

Logging 10 or more weeks atop Hot 100 with multiple songs is no small feat and Adele joins only seven artists who’ve done the same in the past. Boyz II Men and Drake are leading the way with three leaders each, and The Black Eyed Peas, Mariah Carey, Santana, and Pharrell Williams are right behind with two.

“Easy on Me” hit the shelves in October, as the lead single from her fourth studio album 30. Like the song itself, this album made a splash on the charts and went on to become the best-selling album of 2021.
