Ed Helms and Randall Park will hear about some incredible real-life stories in the upcoming True Story.

The duo is set to co-host the new scripted/unscripted series at NBC that recounts and re-enacts true stories. In each of the six hour-long episodes, everyday Americans will sit down with Helms and Park to share their extraordinary true stories for the first time, followed by re-enactments of the stories unfold by a star-studded cast.

“I can’t wait to bring True Story to American audiences with my buddy Randall Park,” Helms said. “It’s an incredibly warm, hilarious and kind-spirited show that celebrates the lost art of laughing at ourselves … with a little help from epic re-enactments.”

Park added: “I’m so excited to be part of a show that combines three of my favorite things: great stories from real people, my pal Ed Helms and couches.”
