Elisabeth Moss proved to the world that she’s capable of carrying a major studio movie on her shoulders with the role in The Invisible Man, and she’s showing no signs of stopping. The Golden Globe-winning actress is set to star in the psychological thriller Mrs. March.

Based on Virginia Feito’s upcoming novel of the same name, Mrs. March will tell the story of an Upper East Side housewife, whose seemingly perfect life turns upside down after she starts suspecting that the loathsome character in her husband’s novel is based on her.

The Handmaid’s Tale star will produce the film with her production company Love and Squalor Pictures. Virginia Feito will be in charge of writing the script, and Moss admitted she was so impressed by her novel that she read it in one sitting.

“As a character, she is fascinating, complex, and deeply human and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into her. Mrs. March is exactly the kind of engaging and challenging female-led project that Love and Squalor Pictures is built to make,” said Moss in a statement.
