Ellie Kemper gave us one of the most memorable roles of her career with Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and she’s getting ready to reteam with this streaming giant. The Emmy-nominated actress landed the lead role in the upcoming romantic comedy Happiness for Beginners.

Happiness for Beginners is based on Katherine Center’s novel of the same name. According to its official logline, this film centers on Helen, who signs up for a wilderness survival course a year after getting divorced and discovers that you have to get really lost in order to find yourself.

In addition to Kemper, this project will also star Luke Grimes (Yellowstone), Nico Santos (Crazy Rich Asians), and Blythe Danner (I’ll See You in My Dreams). Vicky Wight, whose previous projects include The Lost Husband and The Volunteer, will be in charge of directing the film.

Kemper is best known for her roles on The Office and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but she’s no stranger to the rom-com genre. She famously starred in Bridesmaids along with Kristen Wiig and  Melissa McCarthy, and also appeared in romantic comedies Laggies, Sex Tape, and They Came Together.
