It’s been a while since Eminem and Snoop Dogg worked on some new music together, but their latest collaboration was worth waiting for. The two hip-hop legends reunited and rekindled their friendship in the music video for their new single “From the D 2 the LBC”.

The title of this song pays homage to the rappers’ respective hometowns – Detroit and Long Beach. The James Larese-directed video is one wild ride, and it does a great job blending live-action shots with animated segments, inspired by the NFT collection Bored Ape.

The music video for “From the D 2 the LBC” marks the rekindling of the duo’s decades-long friendship, after they squashed their beef in 2020, spawning from Snoop Dogg’s list of top ten all-time rappers that didn’t include Eminem.

A lot has happened since, and Snoop Dogg and Eminem came together to headline Super Bowl LVI back in February. They were a part of a group of hip-hop performers that included Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, with special guests 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak.

Eminem hasn’t released a new studio album since Music to Be Murdered By in 2020, but he’s been keeping busy in the meantime. Most recently, he collaborated with CeeLo Green on the song “The King and I” from the soundtrack for Elvis.
