An Eminem album may be dropping really soon.
After a Reddit thread and a ton of clues from close collaborators including producer Fredwreck and singer Skylar Grey, fans have been speculating that a new album is on its way.
The rumors started when Fredwreck posted a picture of Eminem’s childhood home on Instagram, which was the same house that appeared on the cover of The Marshall Mathers LP and The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The producer also uploaded another photo of a building with the number 1001, which they believe is a hint that new music is being released on October 1.
Grey, who has been collaborating with Eminem for over a decade, told fans on social media to put October 1 in their calendars. “This month has been hellish… but I see the light at the end… can’t wait for October 1st… mark your calendar,” she wrote.
Rapper Mozzy’s manager also tweeted that his client has been in the studio with Eminem and Polo G, which lead to fans wondering if a collaboration will appear on Eminem’s new album.
Eminem’s last album Music To Be Murdered By was released last year and it was followed by Music To Be Murdered By – Side B later that year. He was featured on Grip’s “Walkthrough” last month.
