The release of Eminem’s new album Music to Be Murdered By was something no one saw coming, but his fans still embraced it with open arms and helped the famous rapper reach the no. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for the 10th consecutive time.

Eminem surprisingly dropped his new album on January 17th, and promoted its release by sharing a music video for the lead single “Darkness”. Despite the fact he recorded the whole thing in secrecy, many fellow artists were able to collaborate with him, including Juice Wrld, Ed Sheeran, and Anderson .Paak.

Music to Be Murdered By surpassed Halsey’s new album Manic, with a total of 279,000 album-equivalent units sold and easily reached the no. 1 spot. To make the whole thing even better, this is Eminem’s 10th consecutive album to do so, making him the only artist to ever accomplish this task.

The famous rapper also became one of only six acts with ten or more no. 1 albums on this chart. The record is still held by The Beatles with a total of 19 records, but the list also includes Jay-Z, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, and Elvis Presley.
