If you’re always in the mood for a wild female-led comedy, Jenny Suen’s upcoming film Peaches is just the thing you’ve been waiting for! It will star Emma Corrin and Lucie Zhang as two best friends who make a living by scamming their sugar daddies.

Peaches is a contemporary adaptation of Vera Chitylova’s 1966 comedy Daisies, set in modern-day Hong Kong. It centers on two BFFs, who scam sugar daddies for a living, but their crimes catch up with them after they find out that a Hermes Birkin bag they were gifted by one of their “boyfriends” is actually a fake.

Peaches marks the English-language feature debut for Jenny Suen, and she described it as a “playful exploration of what it means to be a young person in today’s calamitous world.”

“Emma Corrin and Lucie Zhang are astonishing performers with both the verve and the vulnerability to bring the Peach spirit to life! I am beyond excited to start shooting with Emma and Lucie,” said Suen in a statement.

Coco Francini is producing the film, with Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton coming on board as executive producers for Dirty Films, while MK2 Films is handling international sales at the American Film Market.
