Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and her husband Jose Bastón are expecting a baby boy! This was confirmed to E! News by Longoria’s representatives. The 42-year-old actress is four months pregnant. While Eva Longoria will welcome her first child, her husband Jose has three children from his previous marriage.
The actress previously spoke about the possibility of having children, saying that it would be a blessing.
“If it happens, it happens, if it’s meant to be it would be a blessing.” she said while speaking to Ocean Drive back in 2016.
Eva Longoria started dating Jose Bastón, who serves as the president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America, in 2013. After getting engaged in December 2015, the couple got married in May 2016 in Mexico.
“[Our wedding] was so magical,” said Longoria to E! News at the time. “We had so much fun as you can see from all the posts from everybody. It was the funnest wedding I had ever been to. I’m glad it was mine.”
After Desperate Housewives ended its run in 2012, Longoria went on to work on a handful of projects. She had a role in NBC’s sitcom Telenovela from 2015 to 2016. Although the sitcom started really strong, it failed to attract viewers on the long run and ended up being canceled after 11 episodes. She also made appearances on the TV shows Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Empire. Besides acting, Longoria is also known for her philanthropic work. She founded Eva’s Heroes foundation in 2006 with a goal to help disabled kids, while her other charity Eva Longoria Foundation aims to fight Latin poverty.
