If dark comedies happen to be your favorite genre, it’s time to put Dead Guy on your watch list! This promising film recently finished shooting under the SAG-AFTRA interim agreement, and its star-studded cast includes Eva Longoria and Michael Shannon.
The plot of Dead Guy kicks off when an abrasive old man suddenly dies in the apartment of one of his neighbors, and his not-so-dearly departed, from neighbors to building workers, pass the body along because they don’t want to be associated with his demise.
In addition to the two-time Oscar nominee Michael Shannon and the Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, Dead Guy will also star Judy Greer (Reboot), Luis Guzman (Wednesday), Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break), Rory Culkin (Black Mirror), and Curtis Armstrong (Supernatural).
Courtney J. Camerota was in charge of directing and writing this promising dark comedy, and she can’t wait for the world to see it.
“I wrote this script years ago and to finally see it come to life is a dream come true. The opportunity to work with such an incredible cast, crew and producing team for my directorial debut has been an absolute honor,” said Camerota in a statement.
Dead Guy already wrapped up production and it will be presented to potential buyers at the American Film Market by CAA Media Finance.
