After the masters for her first six studio albums were sold, Taylor Swift decided to take creative control of her music by re-recording her old catalog. The remastered version of her sophomore album Fearless is on the way, and here’s everything we know about it so far.

Release Date

The new version of Fearless will hit the shelves on April 9th, 2021. In an official statement announcing its release, Swift called it “an album full of magic and curiosity, and the bliss and devastation of youth.”

First Single

The new version of “Love Story” was released as the first single from this album, and it received praise for the maturity that can be felt in Swift’s voice over a decade after its initial release.

Tracklist

Fearless will feature a total of 26 tracks, and some of them will be brand-new. Swift intends to drop six new songs from her vault that she never shared with the world before.

Grammy Eligibility

According to the statement provided to Billboard by a Recording Academy spokesperson, the new version of Fearless will be eligible for the Grammys in the performance categories, but the previously released songs can’t be in the running for the songwriting awards.
