Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby is plotting his next HBO drama, and its cast is getting more amazing by the day. House of the Dragon’s Fabien Frankel and Conversations with Friends’ Alison Oliver will join Mark Ruffalo in Ingelsby’s upcoming crime drama.
This untitled series will center on an FBI agent Tom (Ruffalo), who’s heading a task force to put an end to a string of drug-house robberies led by an unsuspecting family man in the working-class suburbs outside of Philadelphia.
Frankel joined the series as Anthony, an integral member of Tom’s task force, while Oliver will portray Lizzie, an underperforming state police officer who joins their team. The cast also includes Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Raul Castillo, Jamie McShane, and Sam Keeley.
Ingelsby is coming on board as writer and executive producer, with Jeremiah Zager and Salli Richardson-Whitfield joining him in the directors’ chair. Ruffalo will also serve as one of the executive producers.
Frankel got her big break while playing Ser Criston Cole in House of the Dragon, and will next appear in the romantic drama Venice at Dawn. Alison Oliver made her acting debut with Conversations with Friends and went on to star in Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn.
