More than 122 million people follow Facebook updates posted by Cristiano Ronaldo, but it seems they’re about to get a better insight into his life. The social media giant is developing a new reality show following the life of the biggest soccer superstar in the world.

Portuguese icon will get $10 million for his participation if he says “Yes!” The show will focus on his family life and give fans an opportunity to see him in a new light. If Ronaldo accepts the offer it will be Facebook’s biggest original series deal to date. The upcoming docu-series will have 13 episodes, unless Ronaldo decides he likes having his life under the microscope and agrees to do more.

Social networking service launched its video platform for TV-style content called Facebook Watch about a year ago. If this deal comes together, it won’t be the first collaboration between Facebook and the Real Madrid superstar. The company already ordered a scripted drama series from Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Lee’s studio wiip, focusing on diverse high school girls soccer team from upstate New York.

Cristiano was attracted to this project because it reminds him of his humble beginnings. He described it as a story about “values, challenges, friendship, difficult times, hard work, solidarity, tensions, and harmony”. Let’s hope he’s just as enthusiastic about the upcoming reality show. His 122 million followers certainly are!
