Fox viewers can’t imagine going through a Sunday night without watching new episodes of Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers and they won’t have to as the network’s bosses renewed these beloved animated shows for another season.

Charlie Collier, CEO of Fox Entertainment, described these shows as “the heavyweights of the genre” and said he can’t imagine a better home for them than Fox.

“If you’re an animator, there is no better place to showcase your work than Sunday nights on Fox. This is the network that set the standard for primetime animation,” said Collier during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour, and added they’re looking for the next generation of culture-defining animated comedies to join their ranks.

Shortly before announcing they’re bringing Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers back for another season, Fox executives renewed The Simpsons for additional two seasons. These tree shows are a staple of network’s animated programming and they’re consistently bringing in a lot of revenue, through good ratings, lucrative streaming and merchandising deals.
