Netflix has axed the animated show Tuca & Bertie and it seems the show’s fans are not going to give it up without a fight. Fans of the show have launched SaveTucaAndBertie.com – a site dedicated to the fight to keep the birds on the screen.

The site is giving fans a place to vent their frustration about the network’s decision and also provides links to articles about the show and criticism over the cancellation, links to send e-mail to Netflix, to tweet the #SaveTucaAndBertie hashtag. The fans have also opened a petition on Change.org which had over 15,000 signs at the time of the writing.

The discourse over the show pointed out the lack of other takes on women’s relationship and the seemingly rushed decision to cancel the show less than three months after it premiered. Some have claimed that many people did not even get the chance to hear about the show before it got canceled.

Tuca & Bertie stars Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong as two 30-year-old bird-women and was created by BoJack Horseman producer Lisa Hanawalt.

The first season is still available on Netflix.
