Tributes continue to pour in for the late fashion designer, Kate Spade.
The 55-year-old, who was famous for her fashion empire which specialized in bags, was discovered in her Manhattan apartment after reportedly taking her own life.
Numerous stars have paid condolence to the woman who was born Kate Brosnahan and is the aunt to Marvellous Mrs. Maisel actress, Rachel Brosnahan.
Leading the tributes was Lena Dunham from Girls who recognized Kate’s impact on making others feel beautiful through her work:
Kate Spade was more than a designer. She had a quirky visual language that captivated Bat Mitzvah girls and artists alike. She was also a staple of NYC who spread good will. My heart breaks for her family. Thank you, Kate, from one of the millions you made feel beautiful.

Chelsea Clinton recalled receiving her first Kate Spade bag:

While former brand ambassador, Jurassic World actress Bryce Dallas Howard, expressed her sadness at the news:
Kate is survived by her husband Andy Spade whom she married in 1994, and their daughter Frances.
