Famous fashion designer Marc Jacobs is now an engaged man. Jacobs proposed to his boyfriend, model, and candle-maker Char Defrancesco, on Wednesday night and really made it in an unconventional way.

Marc and Char arrived for a dinner at a local Chipotle, only to find a flash mob dancing to the tunes of Prince’s “Kiss.” Char thought that they had a random luck of stumbling on this interesting performance and was recording the stunt with his phone. Then Marc got on one knee, got the ring out and popped the question as the entire Chipotle cheered. Of course, Char said yes!

Marc Jacobs posted everything on his Instagram profile, so you can check out below how cute the proposal was.

According to NY Daily News, Jacobs and Defrancesco were in a relationship at least two years before the engagement. The couple currently resides in the Jacobs’ residency in the West Village.

Marc Jacobs, who served as Louis Vuitton’s creative director from 1997 to 2014, has a successful fashion label Marc Jacobs and is frequently listed among the most influential people in the world.

Char Defrancesco, on the other hand, has a successful candle-making business “Get Lit by Char,” on top of his modeling and acting efforts.
