The second adaptation of a Jojo Moyes novel is tapped some major names at its leads.
The Aeronauts’ Felicity Jones and Big Little Lies star Shailene Woodley are set to star in the big-screen adaptation of The Last Letter From Your Lover. Jones will star as the female lead opposite male lead Callum Turner.
Helmed by Augustine Frizzell, the love story follows Ellie (Jones), a journalist in London who discovers and becomes obsessed with the story behind a series of love letters outlining a star-crossed romance between Jennifer Stirling (Woodley) and Anthony O’Hare (Turner) in the 1960s.
Set to co-star are Nabhaan Rizwan, Joe Alwyn, and Ncuti Gatwa.
A release date has yet to be announced, but Shooting begins in Mallorca next Monday.
