After years in the making, the second season of Feud is finally happening, and Ryan Murphy just shared all the crucial details about this series. The second chapter will be titled Capote Vs. The Swans and its release date has officially been set for this upcoming January.
Based on Laurence Leamer’s book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era, this series will center acclaimed writer Truman Capote and his ties with a group of most elite women in New York City’s high society, whom he nicknamed “the swans.”
Tom Hollander will portray Capote, alongside Naomi Watts as Babe Paley, Chloë Sevigny as C. Z. Guest, Calista Flockhart as Lee Radziwill, Diane Lane as Slim Keith, Demi Moore as Ann Woodward, Molly Ringwald as Joanne Carson, Treat Williams as Bill Paley, Joe Mantello as Jack Dunphy, and Chris Chalk as James Baldwin.
Capote Vs. The Swans serves as the long-awaited second chapter of Murphy’s acclaimed Feud series, which kicked off with a story about the rivalry between Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange). Season 2 will premiere with two episodes on January 31, 2024 on FX, and it will be available to stream on Hulu the next day, along with a special director’s cut.
