Will Eve Polastri survive?

The cat-and-mouse game between the MI6 agent and Russian assassin Villanelle is set to reach its climax, with production having begun on the final season of Killing Eve.

Laura Neal is assuming the role of the head writer on the upcoming fourth season, following the pattern of a different female head writer for each. Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge helmed season one, followed by Promising Young Woman director Emerald Fennell on season two, and Suzanne Heathcote from Fear the Walking Dead for season three.

The show shared behind-the-scenes clips announcing that filming was underway. They featured Jodie Comer in one of Villanelle’s elaborate wigs.

Killing Eve has been nominated for numerous awards, with Comer and Sandra Oh picking up an Emmy and Golden Globe, respectively.

The fourth and final season of Killing Eve is expected in 2022.
