Five Jeopardy! episodes with the late host Alex Trebek are scheduled to air from January 4 to January 8.

The episodes were taped in late October just before Trebek passed on November 8. The first episode will feature a message about the importance of the holiday season of giving and the last one will include a tribute to the show’s decade long-host for his contribution to the show.

Jeopardy! will be going on with guest hosts starting on January 11 with contestant Ken Jennings, who’s known for having the longest winning streak.

Back in March 2019, Trebek revealed his stage-four pancreatic cancer, but he continued hosting throughout his battle with the disease. On his last day of filming on October 29, he had hosted over 8,200 episodes over 37 seasons.

Trebek landed a Guinness World Record for hosting the most episodes of a single game show and he earned five Daytime Emmy awards for his role on the show.
