First Glimpse at “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is set to be released later this year and the first photos have been revealed.

The cast will star Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina, who you might recognize from Mad Men as Sally Draper. The series will also star Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle. Lynch is associated with Disney and is best known for his appearance in the pop-rock band “R5”. The show will also star Michelle Gomez and Lucy Davis.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has revealed a picture of Shipka and Lynch on set via Twitter, captioned: “Well, it’s out there. A 1st look at Harvey and Sabrina from the “Chilling Adventures of #Sabrina. ADORBS, right?” You can view the photo here:

The original series Sabrina the Teenage Witch starred Mellisa Joan Hart as Sabrina and aired September 1996 to May 2000. Sabrina is an American teenager who discovers on her 16th birthday that she has magical powers. The series is based on the Archie Comics, which the series deviates from in a lot of ways. The new series will be based on the more recent, darker Archie comics The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina.

The premiere date has not yet been announced but the show is anticipated to be released on Netflix later this year.
