Anyone But You is one of the most highly-anticipated romcoms coming our way this year, and we finally got much more than those viral behind-the-scenes photos. The first official look at Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell in this romantic comedy is here, ahead of its premiere this winter.
Anyone But You was mostly filmed in Sydney, Australia, and the first look photo shows the leading duo looking at each other while the city’s skyline and the Sydney Harbour Bridge lurk in the background. Sweeney is standing in the back of a truck in a stylish dress, while Powell is walking next to the truck in a smooth white suit.
Anyone But You will see Sweeney and Powell play two former college classmates forced to attend a mutual friend’s destination wedding in Australia. The ceremony turns into a total nightmare for both after it turns out their respective exes will be in attendance, so they decide to pretend to be a couple to make them jealous.
In addition to Sweeney and Powell in the lead roles, Anyone But You will also star Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, and Rachel Griffiths. It will be released on December 22, just in time for the Christmas four-day weekend.
