First Poster for “The Marvels” Show the MCU’s Biggest Heroines

The Marvels is one of the most exciting new MCU movies coming our way and the first poster for this highly-anticipated ensemble project is finally here. The new poster unites three of Marvel’s biggest heroines and reveals the film’s new release date.

The new poster shows us a first glimpse at Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris’s Monica Rambeau by each other’s side. Their costumes and symbols are incorporated into the poster, but it will take a while before we see them interact with each other properly.

The film’s tagline “Higher. Further. Faster. Together.” offers a twist on Captain Marvel’s own original tagline “Higher. Further. Faster.” Referencing this film makes total sense since Carol Danvers is the only of the three titular superheroes to actually appear in the MCU movies.

Iman Vellani led the Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel, while Teyonah Parris played a supporting role in WandaVision, and her character Monica Rambeau gained the ability to absorb energy, which will be further explored in The Marvels.

Shortly before unveiling the poster for this film, Marvel pushed its release date to November 10, 2023. In addition to the leading trio, the film will also star Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon.
