Snow White is one of Disney’s defining animated classics, and its live-action remake has been a long time coming. This highly-anticipated film will finally hit the theaters in March, and Disney dropped the first teaser trailer during the D23 Expo this past week.
Based on Disney’s 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the live-action remake chronicles the journey of a young princess who was rescued by the Seven Dwarfs after being exiled into the dangerous forest by her wicked stepmother.
Rachel Zegler leads the cast of Disney’s new remake, and she described playing Snow White as an honor of a lifetime at the D23 Expo. Gal Gadot, who plays the Evil Queen, also joined her on stage and said, “It was a lot of fun to get to do something that is completely different than anything I’ve ever done before.”
The supporting cast of Show White also includes Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman, Dujonna Gift as Maple, Martin Klebba as Grumpy, and Colin Michael Carmichael in an undisclosed role.
After being hit by several major delays, Snow White is finally coming to theaters on March 21, 2025. It will become available on Disney+ at a later date.
