After serving fans a handful of teasers during the week, Universal Pictures finally released the first trailer for their upcoming expected blockbuster Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The movie is the fifth installment in Jurassic Park film series and serves as a sequel to the 2015’s Jurassic World.

Action packed trailer shows us Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire Dearing heading back to the island Isla Nublar in order to save the dinosaurs from the volcanic eruptions that are threatening to kill them. We also had a chance to briefly see Jeff Goldblum reprises his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm from the first two films. Although the trailer poses more questions than answers, judging by the first look, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be a sequel worth watching. The movie is set for release on June 22, 2018. Check out the trailer below.

Released in May 2015, Jurassic World received positive reviews from the critics, while becoming a box office hit. It brought in $1.67 billion and currently ranks as the fourth highest-grossing film of all time.

Universal announced the sequel in June 2015, later revealing that it will be the second entry in the planned trilogy. The filming officially started in February 2017, wrapping up in July. J. A. Bayona (The Orphanage, A Monster Calls) took over the directing duties from Colin Trevorrow. Trevorrow served as a writer on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom alongside Derek Connolly. The director of the first two movies in the series, Steven Spielberg, returned as an executive producer. Alongside Pratt and Howard, B. D. Wong is set to reprise his role of Dr. Henry Wu. New members of the cast include Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, and Justice Smith.
