Fleetwood Mac Makes a Top 10 Comeback

Fleetwood Mac’s album Rumours returns to the Top 10—thanks to TikTok. 

That’s right, the band officially made its return to the top of the charts thanks to a viral TikTok video of a man singing along to “Dreams” while skateboarding.

The video features Nathan Apodaca, a potato farm worker in Idaho skateboarding down a road and sipping from a bottle of Cran-Raspberry juice. It has been viewed more than 60 million times, which was followed by countless streams and downloads for “Dreams.”

The classic album was in the Top 10 of the Billboard album chart, in February 1978, climbed back to the Top 10 after 42 years, landing at No. 7. According to Nielsen Music, the album’s climb is the equivalent of 33,000 sales in the United States, including more than 30 million streams.
