Killers of the Flower Moon is entering this year’s Oscar race as one of the front-runners, and it’s living up to the hype. The National Board of Review just announced its list of recipients, and Martin Scorsese’s historical epic topped the list of winners with four awards.

Flower Moon was named the best film of 2023 by the National Board of Review, and it made it to their list of the top ten films of the year, along with Barbie, The Boy and the Heron, Ferrari, The Holdovers, The Iron Claw, Maestro, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, and Poor Things.

Martin Scorsese will be honored for his work as the director of this historical epic, along with its leading lady Lily Gladstone, and cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto.

The list of winners in the acting categories also includes surprise winner Paul Giamatti (best actor for The Holdovers), Mark Ruffalo (best supporting actor for Poor Things), and Da’Vine Joy Randolph (best supporting actress for The Holdovers).

The 95th National Board of Review Awards were announced in full on December 6, while the award ceremony will take place on January 11, 2024 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City, with Willie Geist hosting the festivities.
