During Foo Fighter’s show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville last Friday, Dave Grohl invited an 8 year old to drum on stage in between songs.

The kid, named Little Fonzie, took Taylor Hawkin’s place and gave an impressive drum solo that the audience went wild for. When he finished his piece, the audience cheered so loudly that he couldn’t help but play some more… and then some more after that.

A few minutes into the drum solo, Grohl says to the crowd: “He’s still going… Can I have my concert back?”

Despite Grohl’s comments, the kid continued to play and the crowd continued to cheer. When he wouldn’t leave, the band had to call Little Fonzie’s dad up on stage to get him to stop playing so that the band could finish their set.

Grohl joked: “What are we gonna do? There’s nothing we can do… We’re not in day care right now.”
