Hollywood’s men did very well for themselves over the last year.

Forbes has now released its list of the world’s highest-paid actors of 2018 — and not all of them are there because of the movies they made.

The financially-focused publication revealed that between June of 2017 and 2018, Hollywood’s top 10 leading men made a combined total of $748.5 million.

The figure is significantly more than the $186 million earned by their female counterparts, of which Avengers: Infinity War actress, Scarlett Johansson earned the most with $40.5 million.

Despite not releasing a feature film since 2016, Money Monster actor, George Clooney, topped the men’s list with $239 million, thanks mostly to the sale of his Casamigos Tequila company, which he co-founded in 2013 with Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman.

George was followed by Dwayne Johnson who released not one, but 2 blockbusters this year, in the form of Jumanji: Return to the Jungle and Skyscraper. The combination earned him $124 million.

Third place went to Avengers: Infinity War star, Robert Downey Jr. who, with $81 million, might one day be as wealthy as his character, Tony Stark

Robert’s Avengers co-star, Chris Hemsworth, came in 4th place with $64.5 million, followed by Jackie Chan who rounded off the top 5 with $45.5 million.

The remaining spots were filled by Will Smith ($42 million), Akshay Kumar ($40.5 million), Adam Sandler ($39.5 million), Salman Khan ($38.5 million), and Chris Evans ($34 million).

Not bad for a year’s work.
