If you need another proof Jay-Z is the king of hip-hop, Forbes’ got you covered. Beyoncé’s hubby topped their list of highest-paid hip-hop acts of 2018 by bringing in $76.5 million over the past 12 months.

How did Jay-Z manage to become rap game’s highest-earner? Let’s just say he was all over the place this past year. Some of the major bank-account boosters that helped him secure this flattering title are his new record 4:44, join-album with his wife Everything is Love and the stadium tour On The Run II they went on together. It’s worth mentioning that the rapper also owns his record label Roc Nation and streaming service Tidal.

Diddy didn’t even have to break a sweat to secure the second spot on the list. He hasn’t dropped a new album in years, but that didn’t stop him from earning $64 million over the course of the last 12 months thanks to his stakes in Ciroc vodka and Aquahydrate water.  Kendrick Lamar took the third spot, but his concert tour isn’t the only reason why. Endorsement deals with Nike and American Express also helped him add $58 million to his bank account.
