It’s been an entire decade since MasterChef premiered on Fox, and Gordon Ramsay won’t be hanging up his apron anytime soon. A new season of MasterChef is cooking up at Fox after the network decided to renew the beloved show for Season 12.

Rob Wade, president of alternative entertainment and specials for Fox Entertainment, described Ramsay’s newly launched Studio Ramsay Global as an “important part of Fox’s programming and growth strategy” and called his cooking show “vital to Fox’s DNA”.

“Even in its eleventh season, this show continues to impress by sustaining Fox’s success on Wednesdays this Summer. We anticipate this momentum to continue next year when MasterChef returns for a much deserved Season 12,” said Wade in a statement.

MasterChef is based on the British series of the same name, and it follows passionate cooks from all across the US as they try to complete culinary challenges and win the title of the best chef. The series premiered on Fox in 2010, and Graham Elliot, Joe Bastianich, Christina Tosi, and Aarón Sanchez joined Ramsay as judges over the years.
