The blues might just be calling again…

It appears as though Dr. Crane will be in practice again as Frasier looks to be the latest show receiving the reboot treatment.

Star and executive producer of the series, Kelsey Grammer, is said to be in talks with CBS to create a follow-up which will take place in Chicago.

The last time we saw the Seattle-based psychiatrist, he was leaving the city to follow his girlfriend who was situated in the Windy City.

While the reports of a reboot were mostly met with enthusiasm, some were hesitant over the prospect of those tossed salad and scrambled eggs without John Mahoney.

The Irishman who played dad to Frasier and Niles (and Eddie), Marty Crane, passed away in February at the age of 77.

The series, which was a spin-off of Cheers and ran between 1993 and 2004, also starred David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, and Peri Gilpin.

We’re sure that if a reboot does materialize it will be quite stylish.
