Nickelodeon is ready to finally bring back its popular game from the ’80s, Double Dare. The network revealed on Tuesday that YouTube personality and the Freakish star Liza Koshy will take over the hosting responsibilities for Double Dare reboot, while also revealing that this new iteration of the classic game show is set to premiere on June 25.

“This is a dream that I have been dreaming to live!” said Koshy. “From watching Double Dare to hosting it!? I am ready for a summer of slime and nose-picking.”

While we are about to see Double Dare in a new setting with a new host, Nickelodeon decided to bring back an old and familiar face. Marc Summers, who hosted the original game show, will return as a commentator.

“I can’t think of many shows like Double Dare that have the ability to bond people together — those who grew up watching the original series can now pass along their love for this game show to today’s kids. It’s an honor to be a part of this reboot,” said Summers following the announcement.

Double Dare premiered on Nickelodeon in 1983, becoming a huge hit and the network’s longest-running game show to date. Each episode featured two teams fighting to win a cash prize by answering trivia questions and taking part in series of tough and messy physical challenges. Nickelodeon tried to reboot the show back in 2000 with Jason Harris as a host, but 2000’s revival ended up lasting just one season.
