“Friends From College” Leaving Netflix After Two Seasons

Friends From College gave us one of the best comedy ensembles in recent years, but all good things must come to an end. Netflix is cancelling this delightful sitcom after two seasons.

Just as the title suggests, Friends From College told the story of a group of friends who met while attending college together and are now facing down their 40s. It was described as a comedic exploration of old friendships, former romantic entanglements and balancing adult life with nostalgia for the past.

This sitcom starred several already established comedy stars, including Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele) and Fred Savage (The Wonder Years). Netflix thanked them for all their hard work on this project while announcing its cancellation.

“We’re grateful to creators Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco for creating a wise, funny and supremely relatable show. We also want to thank the hard-working crew, and we raise a glass to the amazingly talented cast,” read the statement released by Netflix.
