There was a lot of uncertainty surrounding Saturday Night Live even after the WGA strike ended, but we finally know what the future holds for this iconic sketch comedy. SNL will be back in business with the full cast this fall, with Pete Davidson and Bad Bunny serving as hosts.

Michael Che, Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Punkie Johnson, Colin Jost, Ego Nwodim, Kenan Thompson, Bowen Yang, James Austin Johnson, and Sarah Sherman are all expected to return for another season. Chloe Troast, the close collaborator of SNL’s Please Don’t Destroy trio, will join the cast as a featured player.

The SNL veteran Pete Davidson will open the new season on October 14, with Ice Spice serving as a musical guest. He’ll be followed by the Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, who’ll pull double duty as both host and musical guest on October 21.

There have been some doubts about SNL’s return because the SAG-AFTRA strike still isn’t over, but this show has a full blessing from the union to return for Season 49.

“Our members appearing on Saturday Night Live either as hosts, guests, or cast members are working under the Network Code agreement, which is not a contract we are striking. They are not in violation of SAG-AFTRA strike rules, and we support them in fulfilling their contractual obligations,” read SAG-AFTRA’s official statement.
