Two months after the end of the hit show Game of Thrones, the creators,  David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, are looking for a new home. HBO, their home in the last decade, has reportedly decided not to bid for them to stay on board. The channel also shelved Confederate, a controversial series the couple was developing set in an alternate timeline where slavery is still legal.

Now, the couple is in the market for a new deal and several networks seem to be interested. According to reports, one of the more probable networks is Disney as Benioff and Weiss are already doing a Star Wars movie for them. It is possible that the couple will sign an all over deal with FX/Disney that will give them the opportunity to create both movies and TV series.

Other possibilities are Netflix and Amazon Studios, both are in the market for new hit franchises. According to the reports, Benioff and Weiss are looking for a 200 million dollars deal.

Regardless of where they would end up their former bosses wish them the best.  “Any place that they end up at would be lucky to have them,” HBO President of Programming Casey Bloys told Deadline at TCA earlier this week.
