Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have just definitely pulled off the happiest Game go Thrones yet!
The couple said their ‘I do’s’ on Saturday in Scotland ten months after announcing their engagement.
The official announcement was made in The London Times in September. “The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harrington of Worcestershire, and Rose, the middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire,” the announcement read.
The special day took place at the actress’ family’s castle, Wardhill, in Aberdeenshire. The castle has been owned by Leslie’s’ family for the past 900 years and is now a private hotel and a popular wedding spot. Leslie’s father spoke outside the church saying, “We are absolutely thrilled for Kit and Rose to be marrying today. It’s an absolutely lovely day for us.”
The wedding was, of course, a GoT fans’ dream come true as the couple’s co-stars including Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke were in attendance.
The bride looked gorgeous in a long sleeve ivory lace wedding dress, a white flower crown, and cathedral veil. The handsome groom wore a long black jacket over a cream vest, white shirt, black tie and gray pinstriped pants.
The couple met on the set of the HBO hit series, playing love interests as Jon Snow and wildling Ygritte.
