Netflix and Gaten Matarazzo have teamed up to bring us an epic hidden camera prank show.
The Stranger Things star is set to host and executive produce Prank Encounters from Ben Silverman and Howard Owens. The eight episodes that will launch on the streaming giant later this year have been in the works for months.
“Each episode of this terrifying and hilarious prank show takes two complete strangers who each think they’re starting their first day at a new job,” Netflix said in a statement. “It’s business as usual until their paths collide and these part-time jobs turn into full-time nightmares.”
Matarazzo will exec produces alongside Silverman, Owens and Kevin Healey for Propagate, and Rob Hyde. Anthony Gonzalez is set to direct.
