George Clooney is recuperating at his Lake Como home after finding himself amidst a collision on Tuesday.

The Catch-22 star was en route to the series’ film set in Sardinia when he was literally knocked off his bike. The 57-year-old was traveling on his scooter which was hit by a vehicle, causing the Oscar winner to be thrown in the air and hit the car’s windscreen.

He was then taken to the emergency room at John Paul II Hospital after complaining about a slight trauma to the pelvis and bruises to one leg and an arm,” according to an Italian publication.

A representative for the father of two has now said that “George was treated and released from an Olbia hospital. He is recovering at home and will be fine.”

Let’s hope there is plenty of Nespresso.
