After rocking our world with her magnetic performance in A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga’s getting ready to test her acting abilities once again. She’s set to star alongside Adam Driver in Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci, and the first look at this highly-anticipated film is finally in.
Lady Gaga shared a photo standing alongside Driver in a snowy location, and captioned it with the words “Signore e Signora Gucci”. Driver is wearing a turtleneck sweater and a white jacket tied around his waist, while Gaga is rocking all-black attire, completed with a white Cossack hat and lavish jewelry around her neck.
Lady Gaga will take on the role of Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of the founder of the Gucci fashion house. In the aftermath of their divorce, Reggiani was tried and convicted of orchestrating her ex-husband’s assassination and she ended up serving 18 years in prison.
The star-studded cast of this biographical crime drama will also include Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jack Huston, Reeve Carney, and Jeremy Irons. House of Gucci is currently set to be released on November 24th, 2021.
