A new trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been released, starring Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd. Shelby Young and Sarah Natochenny will have voice-acting roles. We also got a glimpse of the familiar characters played by Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis.

Murray, Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts, and Ramis starred in the original 1984 hit and the sequel Ghostbusters II in 1989. Following Ramis’ death, it was unclear if a third film would happen.

In 2016, Sony produced an all-female reimagining of the film with Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Melissa McCarthy. Jason Reitman was brought on to co-write and direct Ghostbusters: Afterlife after the film flopped at the box office. He cast younger stars and was able to bring back some original cast.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife focuses on Egon Spenger’s family (played in the original by Ramis), who discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the “secret legacy”.

The film is scheduled for a November 11 release. Check out the trailer below.
