Gia Coppola’s follow up feature is an eccentric tale of love.
After making directorial debut with Palo Alto, inspired by the short stories of James Franco, Coppola’s next gig is a romantic drama titled Mainstream.
Starring in the movie are Andrew Garfield and Maya Hawke. Also starring are Nat Wolff and Jason Schwartzman.
While not much is known about the plot, Deadline reports that the film centers on an eccentric love triangle and cautionary tale of preserving your identity within the fast-moving internet age.
Coppola who is set to direct the film also co-wrote the script with Tom Stuart. Fred Berger (La La Land) is producing and Robert Schwartzman and Holly Wiersma both serve as executive producers.
