We still can’t get over Gillian Anderson’s fantastic portrayal of Margaret Thatcher on The Crown, and she’s already getting ready to play another iconic historical figure. The Emmy-winning actress is set to play Eleanor Roosevelt in the Showtime series The First Lady.

According to its official synopsis, this historical anthology series will peel back the curtain on the personal and political lives of the enigmatic women at the heart of the White House.

Anderson will join Viola Davis and Michelle Pfeiffer, set to play Michelle Obama and Betty Ford. Amy Israel, EVP of scripted programming for Showtime Networks, said it’s inspiring to have them at the forefront of this series.

“Gillian Anderson is an actress of incredible range and exquisite talent—she is the perfect choice to complete this powerhouse trio, who will inhabit the roles of these iconic women,” said Israel in a statement.

Susanne Bier is set to direct and executive produce, while the rest of the cast will include Aaron Eckhart, Judy Greer, and Rhys Wakefield.
