Gina Rodriguez is making a rather magical name for herself as a director.
The star of Jane the Virgin has stepped behind the camera of late, having directed the 10th episode of the show’s 4th season, as well as donning the director’s hat again for the first episode of the series’ 5th and final season.
Now, according to Variety, Gina and her hat will be stepping onto a different set.
The 34-year-old is set to direct an episode of the new Charmed reboot, which comes from Jane showrunner, Jennie Snyder Urman.
“I’m very excited about that opportunity and obviously very excited that I get to do it with three Latinas,” Gina said. “It’s really f—ing awesome. It’s going to be really exciting to see what that journey is.”
The enchanting Miss Rodriguez will be directing the 11th episode of Charmed and we’re sure she’ll have the cast under her spell.
