Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s iconic novel Good Omens finally got the delightful adaptation it deserves thanks to Amazon, but its ending is in sight. Aziraphale and Crowley’s amazing adventures will come to an end in the upcoming third and final season.

Created for Amazon by its co-author Gaiman, Good Omens centered on angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, who got used to a pleasant life on Earth and must join forces to save it from impending doom.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant led the series as Aziraphale and Crowley, while its star-studded supporting cast included Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Michael McKean, Derek Jacobi, Brian Cox, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Frances McDormand.

Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, confirmed the show’s renewal for its final season and promised its next chapter will be packed with the same dynamic energy that fans of this show have come to enjoy.

Good Omens has checked every box for a clever, witty, and funny comedy that not only made it a success on Prime Video but also made ‘goodness’ watchable and fun thanks to Neil and Terry’s immense creativity,” said Sanders in an official statement.

The production of the final season is underway in Scotland, and it will most likely feature six episodes.
