HBO Max’s reboot of Gossip Girl has cast Emily Alyn Lind as one of its leads.
The new iteration is based on the book by Cecily von Ziegesar. Joshua Safran penned the 10-episode series.
Lind will play a character named Audrey, who has been in a long term relationship and is beginning to wonder what more could be out there.
The sequel series to the hit 2000s teen drama hails from Schwartz and Stephanie Savage’s Fake Empire, Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros TV and CBS Television Studios.
The original Gossip Girl premiered in 2012 and ended after six seasons on The CW. It starred Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick.
