HBO Max’s Gossip Girl reboot revealed some fresh, new faces on their official Instagram page.
The social media page showed the new cast and characters that will be appearing in the reboot. The reboot, like the original, is written by Joshua Safran and based on the book by Cecily von Ziegesar.
The official logline is, “Eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl. The prestige series will address just how much social media—and the landscape of New York itself—has changed in the intervening years.”
The posts featured the Gossip Girl characters’ names and their most important traits like power, influence, style, and freedom. In addition to previously mentioned cast members, additional cast members were revealed including Evan Mock, Eli Brown, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Zion Moreno, and Savannah Smith.
