“Gossip Girl” Reboot Set to Start Filming in October

We’re finally getting news about the Gossip Girl reboot.

The reboot which comes from HBO Max will start production in New York in October. WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group chief Ann Sarnoff confirmed that the production for the series will take place in Vancouver, New York, and Los Angeles.

The 10-episode series comes from original creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and will take place eight years after the original show’s finale. Gossip Girl will look at how social media has influenced the social scene of New York’s elites. The series will follow a new generation of private school teens who are introduced to the Gossip Girl website.

Kristen Bell will be reprising her role as the narrator and the new cast includes mostly unknown actors. Starring in the reboot are Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Adam Chanler-Berat, Thomas Doherty, Jonathan Fernandez, Tavi Gevinson, Jason Gotay, Emily Alyn Lind, Zión Moreno, and Whitney Peak.
